What is the Environmental Control Board?
The Environmental Control Board is a judiciary tribunal that holds hearings for violations issued across several city agencies. The DOB, FDNY, Department of Sanitation, DOHMH, and many more regulatory agencies issue violations held in conjunction with ECB hearings.
The ECB is also commonly known as the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, or OATH.
