Does the DOB administer violations for electrical work?

The Department of Buildings may issue an ECB-related violation for any Notice of Objection associated with an Electrical Application. ED16A forms must be filed to resolve Notices of Objection, along with any required Certificates of Correction for associated ECB infractions. The DOB will also issue violations for any electrical work performed without a permit.
