SiteCompli’s Product team announced the release of three new InCheck features that make handling NYC compliance faster and easier than ever before:
Never Lose Track of Compliance Work with Automatic Tasks
Users can now have any compliance alerts from their SiteCompli account automatically turn into Tasks. This jump-starts your team’s work process, letting you track, prioritize, and manage all compliance Tasks across your portfolio. You can access InCheck Tasks anywhere – onsite through the Mobile App, or back at your desk.
We’ve also launched User Roles – a new way for you to make sure work gets to the right person, even if you don’t know who that person is. Let’s say you have a large portfolio with lots of Property Managers, and don’t know who’s responsible for a particular building. You can create a Task for the Property Manager at the specific building, and InCheck will intelligently link it to the right individual going forward. Even if your staff members change in the future, work will always get to the right person.
When you’re ready to finish work, InCheck now has built-in tools to easily capture required signatures and files, even on the go. Just set a Task Type to include a signature or document requirement, and InCheck helps your team confirm the information you need.
Does your team have access to InCheck? SiteCompli users can access InCheck’s powerful tools for free. Contact our Support team today if you want to take the manual hassle out of compliance work!
Compliance changes are coming – and some are already here!
RealFocus guests got critical insights directly from agency representatives, including some new regulations (and a great fire safety story about Tom Selleck). Add in some best practices from our industry expert panels, and RealFocus guests had a full picture of how they should manage compliance going forward.
Here’s just some of the changes we learned about at this year’s RealFocus:
Fire Safety regulations for building drill requirements are in the works, and a new stove knob cover rule is already in effect! Read up on the proposed changes, and reach out to us if you’re interested in a stove knob cover solution (email@example.com)- we can help make sure you’re compliant here.
Communication with your vendors is key! The elevator inspection filing process is one of the biggest compliance changes of 2018 – if you haven’t already, touch base with your elevator vendor and consultant to confirm how you’ll be handling the inspection filing process this year.
HPD will begin enforcing a Pilot Program regarding Certificates of No Harassment – if your building is part of the program, you’ll have to fulfill additional requirements before the DOB issues work permits. Make sure you know what this program entails, and how your building may be impacted.
For more information on the latest compliance news, stay tuned to the SiteCompli Blog. We’ll be releasing more detailed recaps of the most critical regulations over the next few weeks. We’ll also be sending out video recordings of our sessions to RealFocus 2018 guests. Don’t miss out on all the great content – we’ll let you know when RealFocus is on the schedule so you can mark your calendars.
