The BIG NYC Compliance Data Update In Your Account – February 2025 Release!

With the growing list of requirements for your properties, it’s critical your team has all the information you need to take action and avoid fines. That’s why we’ve released a BIG (HUGE, even!) NYC compliance data update for SiteCompli and InCheck – all to help you prevent big (huge!) penalties.

The best part? It’s available now in your account!

Here’s a rundown on the information you can easily access now, a sneak peek at what’s coming, and even more enhancements to make sure your portfolio is protected.

Parking Structure Inspections

In recent years, the city council released a series of parking structure inspection requirements, then quickly doubled down. In fact, more changes are on the way – including a more frequent inspection cycle.

Penalties for failure to submit inspections are high, and compounded (annual fines in addition to one-time penalties for failure to file). Here’s how the data in your account can help you prevent these penalties:

  • View information for any of your properties where DOB has identified a parking structure
  • See the DOB’s current due dates, subcycle, and filing status for that structure
  • Track which of your properties still needs to file, and take action with your favorite SiteCompli and InCheck features
  • Future calendar reminders and alerts so you’re in the loop – especially when the city adjusts the next cycle dates

Bedbug Report Filings

For residential properties citywide, the fastest growing violation is for failure to submit the annual bedbug report (it’s true – we’ve got the stats in our latest city report).

That’s why we’re bringing in historical filing information for your residential properties. Any bed bug report filing for your buildings can now be found on the Bed Bug Reports page, in the HPD section of your account.

There’s even a new widget you can add to your Dashboard to help you track filing status across your entire portfolio, or a group of buildings:

SiteCompli's Bed Bug widget shows a circle totaling the number of residential properties in an account, and how many of those properties have bed bug reports for the year filed with HPD. This helps you track whether or not your portfolio is in compliance.

Track to 100% compliance for each filing cycle by adding the Bed Bud Report widget to your Dashboard.

Revamped Facades Page

With Cycle 9 wrapping up and Cycle 10 kicking off, we wanted to make sure you had critical facade information front and center in your account.

Here’s what’s new:

  • We’re focusing first-look columns on Cycle 9 information (due date, inspection date, and filing status) and Cycle 10 information
  • Historical filings, as always, can be seen by clicking into any property
  • We’re also adding all properties without historic records to your facades page so you can track adjustments for new buildings, add notes, and have a better understanding of how many properties in your portfolio are part of FISP – and how many aren’t

Coming Soon – Retaining Wall Inspections!

With the city’s increased retaining wall enforcement (and potentially significant penalty change), we want to make sure you have easy access to retaining wall filing data for your properties.

Soon, you’ll be able to see all the properties in your portfolio where the DOB has identified retaining walls. You’ll also see any updated filings as they’re made for each cycle going forward.

Stay tuned for this update, coming very soon!

Bonus – Even More Educational Info

You might have noticed that each time you log into your account, you see more educational notes and helpful information. Making sure you have the latest compliance education and updates is critical, and we’re continuing to work on ways to bring more context and breaking news directly into your account.

We’ve got even more exciting enhancements up our sleeves here, so stay tuned.

Taking Action

As always, your team has access to critical tools to help you take action on the above proactive requirements:

  • Unlimited, integrated users so you can connect with your favorite consultants, vendors, and expediters directly in your SiteCompli or InCheck account
  • Notes and files so your entire team can access key records – and you can add notes to alerts without even having to log in!
  • Customizable statuses to track your progress using Compliance Manager – reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get it for your team!
  • Automatically assigned Tasks & detailed Workflows, syncable due dates, and easy onsite capture for observations using InCheck
