How do I resolve an FDNY Violation Order?

Each FDNY Violation Order has an explicit timeframe in which correction is required. Typical timeframes are 90, 60, 30, 15 days, or “forthwith,” which means immediately.

Depending on the details of the violation, a re-inspection or document submission may be required to correct. If steps to correct aren’t explicitly listed on the copy, the issuing District Office will have more detailed information.
