What notices and postings are required from HPD?

A number of notices must be posted in designated spaces of residential properties at all times. You can find a list of some required documents here – please note that this list is not exhaustive, and does not reflect on requirements from other departments (including the FDNY).

Required notices include garbage collection information, smoke & carbon monoxide detector notices, fire safety plans, and Housing Guide availability.
