When will an HPD Inspector investigate a complaint?
Owners and managers are not notified of the time frame in which an HPD Inspector (sent from Code Enforcement) will appear. A best practice is to self-investigate and make any necessary repairs as soon as you are aware of the complaint. The more time you have to respond effectively to a complaint, the lower your chances are of receiving a violation once the inspector arrives.
