What is a LL 62/91 violation?

The Local Law 62/91 violation was previously issued administratively for failure to file an annual boiler inspection. These infractions were last issued in 2009 and carry a penalty based on the size of the property. For properties six stories and under, the per building penalty is $500. For properties seven stories and over, the per building penalty is $1,500.

To clear a LL 62/91 violation, make sure that a current boiler inspection report is on file. You must also submit the total civil penalties due (along with a printout of the violation) to the below address:

Payment must be made out to the Department of Buildings in the form of a money order or certified check.
