When are Cycle 9 Façade filings due?

Cycle 9 of the Façade Inspection & Safety Program occurs from 2020 to 2025. Click here to download a diagram of Cycle 9 filing due dates.

Filing Cost:

• Initial Report: $425
• Amended or Subsequent Request: $425
• Extension Request: $305

Penalties:

• Late Filing (initial report): $1,000 per month
• Failure to File (initial report): $5,000 per year
• Failure to correct unsafe conditions: See schedule in 1RCNY 103-04
• Failure to correct SWARMP conditions: $2,000

Penalties can be paid via DOB NOW: Safety. Read the DOB's service notice for more details.

Possible Results:

• Safe: No problems and in good condition
• Safe with repair and a maintenance program (SWARMP)
• Unsafe: problems/defects threaten public safety
