How often are FDNY permit accounts inspected?

Most permit accounts expire five years from the initial approval/inspection date. Oftentimes an inspection will be scheduled before the expiration date. That said, some specific accounts require annual renewals. Make sure you know the ongoing schedule for your specific permit account.

Please note that a regular inspection requirement exists alongside renewal payments, which are typically issued annually by the FDNY.
