How do I resolve an HPD violation?

HPD violations must be corrected within the designated time period per the Notice of Violation. The violating condition must be corrected within the specific timeframe, and Certification (mailing a CIV-194 or performing eCertification) must be submitted within another timeframe following the correction.

If violations are not resolved, they will remain open on the property’s records.
