On May 24th SiteCompliers rode the subway up to Harlem to spend our 5th annual Volunteer Day helping out at The Bridge. The Bridge provides a comprehensive range of critical services, such as supported housing, mental health and substance abuse treatment, job training and placement, and more, to thousands of vulnerable New Yorkers each year. SiteCompli was thrilled to spend the day painting, gardening, and assisting residents as we transformed the interior and exterior spaces, making them readily available to be enjoyed by The Bridge’s clients and residents.
As an employee and community-focused company, SiteCompli is committed to keeping NYC communities flourishing, and this year was no different. Our team volunteers yearly as a great way to develop employee bonding, but most importantly, to promote community service and make a positive difference to our neighborhoods. In the past, we’ve helped restore NYC’s Riverside Park, rebuild Mott Haven’s Community Garden, volunteered at Added Value Farm in Red Hook, and built a new section of McCarren Park’s teaching garden in Williamsburg.
